Something is wrong with my tool. What do I do?
If you are experiencing problems with your tool(s), the first thing you will want to do is contact Specialized Construction Products, your Columbia Authorised Dealer. Specialized will be able to assess if the tool needs routine maintenance, or qualifies for Warranty replacement work. If you have any queries or concerns, please contact us at Specialized directly. Where are Columbia tools manufactured?
Columbia engineers, designs, manufactures and assembles Columbia tools at their headquarters in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Everything they do is done in-house which ensures the highest quality. The origin of the components are US Steel mills, US Aluminum mills, and other US manufacturers in the Cable, Blade, Spring and Rubber industries. Columbia tools' product origin is over 90% US with the remainder coming from Japan and Canada. AllWall knows that once you use a Columbia tool, you will easily identify key differences in quality and value. As Columbia Taping Tools, Canada says:
"The next benefit you will notice will be 10 years later when the tool is still performing great and Columbia is there to back it up."
How do I get a specific part?
Simple. Download a copy of the parts list for that tool(s) on the Downloads page. Locate the part and email or phone us. We will quote you then and there or, for the out-of-the-ordinary, within 24 hrs. We will ensure those parts are in store for you when needed enabling you to have your tool(s) back up and running again as soon as possible.
I think I can buy it cheaper overseas?
A big misconception. All we can advise is for you to consider a slightly weaker dollar when converting; consider GST and Customs fees once in the country; and consider freight from that country. Finally, consider the future back up of your tools. Warranty would need to be related back through to the store you bought it from. If from America, then you would need to sort it out through that store.
